Mormon History

Mormonism is a fascinating study because of the volatile history involved. The beginning of Mormonism is rife with controversy upon controversy. I will try to be objective while presenting information I consider important to understanding what Mormonism is about. My goal is to provide information so people will be capable of making objective decisions based on historical evidence. It is hard for people to do that when they are not given all the pertinent information regarding issues.

It has been the standard practice of many religions to consolidate information and selectively distribute it among its followers. During the Middle Ages Bibles were written in Latin so that only the priests could read it. This would help to consolidate the churches power as the only place people could turn to for information about the Bible, or God. Even today churches tend to hide contriversial history that could cause members to doubt the churches belief system or power structure. Eventually peoples desire for truth leads to discoveries that shed light on the true past and allow people to make educated decisions about their belief system.

Please feel free to comment and share information that will help us all discover truth.
